How Blogging Helps Authors

This blog post explores the ways that many successful authors strategically use the world of blogging to advance their brand and promote a book.

I would love to know your experiences with blogging as an author.  Please leave your comments below and please share this with your networks.  Thanks.

Building a Better Novel, Part 1: The Foundation

I tend to be a pantser rather than a plotter.  Pantsers fly by the seats of our pants.  There are inherent drawbacks as well as rewards for using this method.  Rewards include the joy of discovery and the freedom to change things.

However, I am starting to explore plotting.  Plotting feels like a straitjacket to me, but Plotters tend to write a lot more books, and this definitely interests me!

Go here for this great blog post on Building a Better Novel.  She breaks it down into logical steps.  And remember, you can always change the narrative if it's not working for you.

Your street team can help you to write your book, and to market it afterwards.  For more about how to build your street team, go here to download Book Marketing Genius.
